30 Pictures Showing A Beautiful World Built By A Wildlife Photographer For Little Mice To Live And Thrive In
Simon Dell, otherwise known as "Mr. Tographer," is a wildlife photographer. Simon found a group of mice among the brambles in his garden, and he set about creating a small world and a place for the mice to reside.
He built them minimalistic homes in the style of hobbit houses and equipped them with all the necessities a small house ought to have, such as tables, chairs, and even small plates, bowls, and mugs, all handcrafted from wood scraps. The mice soon moved into the little homes and began interacting with the small props Simon made for them.
Gathering fruits, nuts, and berries from the local trees, the mice enjoy a vast selection of food to snack on each day, along with some peanuts and seeds as treats. They even mix a little peanut butter with water to fill the small mugs, often calling it peanut butter lager.
At night, Simon places a wire net cover over the area to keep the little mice safe, and during the day, he spends hours simply watching the mice scurry around or examining the items he crafted for them. Below are some of the many pictures Simon has taken of the mice over the years.
So, enjoy this little mouse world, and be sure to check out their Facebook page if you want to see more.

All this began back in 2018, and since then, they have had numerous generations of mice and have seen many babies grow from small mice to adults and, before long, become parents, even down to being grandparents. As Dr. Ross Greene, child psychologist and founder of Lives in the Balance, states, "Creating a nurturing environment is essential for growth and development." What began as a single-mouse home quickly expanded into an entire mouse town as Simon built to ensure each mouse had a home or a place to live and be sheltered from the rain.
