This Brave Momma and Her Puppies Were Going to Starve in a Drain Pipe Until a Hero Showed Up
Hera had nowhere safe to go when winter settled over a small village in Serbia, and her only shelter was a drainpipe. With three puppies to protect, the stray mom did what she had to do, even as the cold kept getting worse.
Then a concerned villager stepped in and contacted Milan from the Dog Rescue Shelter Mladenovac, turning a desperate situation into a rescue mission. Hera’s story is a reminder that sometimes a single call can change everything for an animal in trouble.

This is Hera, the heroic momma who asked strangers for help to save her poor puppies.
When all seemed lost for this poor family, the odds turned in their favor. Luckily, a concerned citizen from the nearby village contacted Milan, who worked at the Dog Rescue Shelter Mladenovac, and Milan was quick to rescue them.
These adorable little pups were forced to live in this drain pipe because of the harsh winter raging outside.
Without any shelter, Hera, the brave momma, gave birth to three puppies in a drainpipe outside a small village in Serbia. Things were rough for this little family, but at least they had some roof over their heads, and Hera always found a way to feed herself.
But soon enough, winter set in, making it impossible for them to continue living in the pipe. Unfortunately, they were forced to stay there as they had no other choice.
The cold made every part of this rescue harder.
It also mirrors the grieving mother dog who dug a hole near a grave, shocking everyone with the truth.

Hera couldn't hide her excitement when she saw Milan; she ran out of the pipe to greet him and show him her helpless pups. The puppies were in great shape, but rescuing them would turn out to be more difficult than expected.
The poor pups were too afraid because they had never had any contact with humans, and Milan couldn't reach them at first. After hours of trying in the freezing cold, he managed to save them using a broom.
That part took a lot more patience than anyone expected.
