This Brave Momma and Her Puppies Were Going to Starve in a Drain Pipe Until a Hero Showed Up
Winter has always been the hardest time for most animals, especially dogs. Most dogs can't handle the extremely cold weather, and food is much harder to find during such times.
This stray mother dog was forced to risk everything to ensure the safety of her little ones. It was wintertime, and the temperatures started to drop below zero, with heavy snowfall becoming a regular occurrence.
She was afraid for the lives of her poor puppies, so she decided to put all her trust in some strangers. All she could do was hope that the people were kind and that they would help her and her puppies.
We see a lot of news about bad people doing bad things, which might make you think that there are fewer and fewer good people out there. This poor dog mother had to rely on the kindness of random people to find help for her, and luckily, she succeeded.
This is just one great example of how there are still plenty of good people left out there, and this momma was incredibly lucky to run into them. We should always keep an eye out for stray animals like these and help them in any way we can.
This is Hera, the heroic momma who asked strangers for help to save her poor puppies.
When all seemed lost for this poor family, the odds turned in their favor. Luckily, a concerned citizen from the nearby village contacted Milan, who worked at the Dog Rescue Shelter Mladenovac, and Milan was quick to rescue them.
These adorable little pups were forced to live in this drain pipe because of the harsh winter raging outside.
Without any shelter, Hera, the brave momma, gave birth to three puppies in a drainpipe outside a small village in Serbia. Things were rough for this little family, but at least they had some roof over their heads, and Hera always found a way to feed herself.
But soon enough, winter set in, making it impossible for them to continue living in the pipe. Unfortunately, they were forced to stay there as they had no other choice.
In this photo, we have Milan, the hero of the story, holding the pups he rescued from the pipe.
Hera couldn't hide her excitement when she saw Milan; she ran out of the pipe to greet him and show him her helpless pups. The puppies were in great shape, but rescuing them would turn out to be more difficult than expected.
The poor pups were too afraid because they had never had any contact with humans, and Milan couldn't reach them at first. After hours of trying in the freezing cold, he managed to save them using a broom.
The bond Milan formed with Hera was almost instantaneous, and here we can see this whole happy family together.

After the rescue mission, Milan grabbed the three puppies and reunited them with their worried mom, who was waiting in the van. Now, thanks to the efforts of the concerned citizen and our hero, Milan, Hera and her little pups are safe from the cold weather and well-fed at the shelter.
