Under Elaine's loving care, Celeste began her journey to recovery. A careful "refeeding" plan was put in place, and she received six small, nutrient-dense meals every day.
Gradually but steadily, she started gaining weight and strength, putting on 90 pounds. Four of her five puppies were quickly adopted into loving homes and reunited with their new families, which was heartwarming news. In the safety and comfort of Elaine's care, Celeste blossomed.
