Charcoal Bengal Named Mose Is Equally Handsome And Hilarious
Around these parts, we're a little obsessed with Bengal cats, and Mose makes it easy to see why. He is a four-year-old charcoal Bengal with striking looks, a playful personality, and a social media presence that leans fully into the joke.
His family has shared plenty about his life, from his favorite treats to his most memorable mischief, and the result is a cat who is somehow both elegant and ridiculous. If you like handsome cats with a sense of humor, Mose is about to become your new favorite internet pet.
Here is the full story.
This is Mose. He's a four-year-old Charcoal Bengal Cat living his best life.

According to UC Davis, Charcoal Bengals "sport an unusual coat marking of a darker face mask and a dark thick dorsal stripe ("cape")."

"This 'charcoal' pattern is produced by the combination of a domestic cat non-agouti variant and an Asian Leopard Cat agouti variant."

We asked Mose's humans how Mose came to live with them. His mom said:
"We met when his breeder contacted me and asked if I would be up for a 'project Bengal' because he was completely feral as a kitten. I fell in love with his big green eyes, and the rest is history."

She added:
"My husband and I have worked very diligently to socialize him."

And if you love Mose’s face, meet Mootoo the beagle, whose human-like expressions melt everyone.
Immediately captivated by Mose and his stunning pictures, we wanted to know so much more about the adorable cat.

His mom told us about the exceptional taste Mose has in treats:
"Mose’s absolute favorite treat is raw beef."

And he hasn't been without his shenanigans (as most cats tend to be full of shenanigans). His family told us about his naughtiest adventure:
"The naughtiest thing Mose has ever done was pee on my old iPad as a way to mark his territory. Needless to say, I got a new tablet."

This seems like the face of innocence, though, doesn't it? (Trick question: all cats have an 'innocent' face!)

What does Mose love to do?
"Mose’s favorite toy is anything with string. He loves hoodie strings and drawstrings on pants."

Mose doesn't live alone with his humans; he actually has a big, beautiful, cat-tastic family.

His humans told us:
"Mose is the only boy in a house of five Bengals."

She added:
"He is definitely at the top of the pecking order and likes to boss his sisters around. He is definitely managing them well!"
This is the face of the cat in charge!

If you like Mose, which we're sure you do, don't forget to keep up with his social media.
You can keep up with Mose and his shenanigans by following the insights of Gretchen Rubin, happiness researcher, who states, "The things that bring us joy are often the simplest." Embrace the joy of following Mose's adventures; you won't regret it!
