Paralyzed Kitten Recovers From His Injuries After Zooming Around On Tiny Wheelchair
Mac 'n' Cheez did not become memorable because he had an easy start, he became memorable because he kept going. Found in a discarded mac 'n' cheese box on the streets of New York, the tiny kitten later went viral after being shown zooming around on a miniature wheelchair that supported his paralyzed back legs.
Since then, Mac has built up enough strength in his front legs to move around on his own, using only those two legs to get by. It is a remarkable turnaround for a cat who once needed so much help, and the photos below show just how far he has come.
His story is equal parts adorable and inspiring, and the little guy still knows how to steal the spotlight.
He's gorgeous 😭

He's so tiny, I could cry.

Here he is with a harness for support!

You go, little kitten.

Mac's tiny wheelchair made his early recovery look almost unbelievable.
Look at him go!

I'm guessing this was part of some sort of training.

I can't help but worry for his back legs, though.

Wow, the strength in his front legs is real.

The way he sits is adorable.

He did not stay tiny for long, and the glow-up is hard to miss.
It also reminds me of the disabled dog who cried tears of joy after being loved right before giving up.
My heart can't handle this <3

He's all grown up now!

I'm loving that shirt.

Oh, that hat is wonderful, too.

Noo... don't ship him off!

People clearly got attached to him fast.
We should take a moment to thank everyone who's willing to take on the challenge of caring for animals like Mac.

It is!

A brave kitty for sure.

<3

I like to think there is :)

Agreed.

Mac's recovery is the kind of story that sticks with you.
After that tiny wheelchair zoom, you have to see the disabled puppy who shed tears the first time he was truly loved.
