Truck Driver Rescued A Stray Kitten And Fell Asleep As Soon As She Realized She Was Finally Safe
A truck driver named Matt spotted something tiny and helpless beside the road, and it turned out to be a stray kitten in rough shape. He stopped right away, scooped her up, and quickly realized she was more than just another animal in need.
After a vet visit and a much-needed cleanup, the little cat did something that made the whole rescue feel even sweeter, she curled up and fell asleep in the truck. Matt wanted to keep her, but allergies forced him to find her a new home.
What happened next gave this roadside rescue a happy ending.
Then he made sure she was alright. “I took her to the vet the next day to get rid of all the fleas, and as soon as I did, she instantly fell asleep in the truck. I didn’t have the heart to wake her up when I got home, so I just sat there quietly with the radio off for about an hour until she woke up.”
Matt came across this kitty while driving.
Unfortunately, Matt turned out to be allergic, so he couldn’t keep her. “I’m extremely allergic, so I had to find her a home. I actually interviewed two people who wanted her and told the first person no because the living situation didn’t sound like it would be good for her.” Ultimately, Matt found a good home for the kitty. She now lives happily with her humans and one more rescue cat.
