Cat Man and Foster Home Join Forces to Save Two Abandoned Kittens
A 6- to 7-week-old ginger kitten showed up at a kind woman’s home. The kitty, named Ginny, weighed just a pound.
Ginny was alone, with no siblings or mother around, and no one knew where she originally came from. The group of feral cats that Cat Man Chris was feeding had all been spayed as part of his trap-neuter-release (TNR) program, so none of them could possibly be Ginny’s parent.
Somebody must have dumped Ginny there. In hopes of catching her, Chris and the woman set up traps, but the nervous and fearful kitty avoided capture.
However, one day, Ginny let her guard down and allowed the woman to capture her by hand. Chris then delivered her to Tiny Paws Foster, where she came under Nadija’s care.
Days later, Tiny Paws Foster learned that a kitten named Emmy was loudly crying by a river. Nadija and her friend headed to the bridge to rescue Emmy and tried everything to lure the kitty out from her hiding spot among the rocks.
Knowing from experience that the sounds of other meowing kittens would coax them out, they started meowing and played kitten sounds from YouTube.

Meet Ginny, the ginger kitten.

Chris took Ginny to Tiny Paws Foster.

Luckily, Nadija fostered Ginny.

Here is Emmy. She peeks out from her hiding place in the rocks.

Poor Emmy must have been dumped just like Ginny.
Nadija was pretty sure she was dumped since we never saw any other cats, and it was such an odd place for a kitten to be. - Chris

Here is the bridge where they found Emmy hiding in the rocks.
I was worried the kitten had been spooked and run off, but I finally located her by her meows. It was so cold that I didn’t think she’d move from the shelter of the rocks. - Chris

When it was quieter, Chris started playing YouTube cat meows. He set up traps with tuna fish.
Finally, she appeared and started eating, and I was able to grab her by hand and get her into a carrier! - Chris

Emmy is super sweet and chatty. She loves other cats and snuggles. Whenever she needs attention, she meows.
Emmy soon became friendly when she had food and was in a nice warm home. It took her a couple of days of sleeping, eating, using the litter box, and then sleeping again to recover a bit and start showing interest in her toys! - Chris
Whenever she felt happy, Emmy would swish her tail around.

She loves to play with her toys and explore her surroundings.

The moment they saw each other, Ginny and Emmy instantly clicked. They are now inseparable.
They’re both going to be available for adoption soon; wouldn’t it be AMEOWZING if they were adopted together for the holidays!?

Wherever they go, they are always together.

They have officially become the best of friends and are both up for adoption.

Emmy and Ginny, then and now. See how much more adorable they have become.

Cat Man Chris with Emmy and Ginny.

As Tiny Paws Foster has put Emmy and Ginny up for adoption, they hope that they will be adopted together. Sometimes, adopting two kittens who have a special bond with each other is much easier than adopting just one.
Aside from saving you energy, as the two will obviously be playmates, you can expect them to care for each other too. We wish them a wonderful life ahead with their soon-to-be furever family.
