Emotional And Exciting Reunion Of A Lost Dog With His Human Will Leave You In Tears
Tyler Bandy came home expecting an ordinary day, but his old dog had other plans. The 10-year-old was greeted at the door by Bruiser, and the reunion quickly turned into a tearful, joy-filled moment that was impossible to miss.
Tyler had not seen Bruiser in a while, so the surprise hit hard the second he walked inside. His reaction, along with Bruiser's nonstop excitement, made the moment feel even bigger for everyone watching.
Tyler crying and holding Bruiser
Not long ago, in January, Bruiser got lost while running after a rabbit during a walk.
His family put in all their efforts to find Bruiser. They posted on social media, left out old clothes for him to smell and identify, put up fliers all across their neighborhood, and continuously checked with animal control.

Speaking of never giving up, this is just like the woman reuniting with her dog Harley after 8 years apart.

The family started losing hope when they did not receive any leads for weeks. As Jamie Bandy, Tyler's mom, put it, they were all “starting to lose hope.”
The Highlands County Sheriff's Office shared on their Facebook, “That’s when the phone rang. It turns out their dog had been picked up by somebody on their way to Highlands County and, after a couple of months, it wound up in the hands of our animal services folks.”

Tyler shocked to see Bruiser
One of the staff members at animal services noticed that she might have seen him somewhere. She searched social media and came across Bruiser's details on Facebook. It was then that Bruiser was returned to his parents. However, they wanted to keep it a secret to surprise Tyler.
And boy, it really was a surprise; you can see it in Tyler's reaction.
The Highlands County Sheriff's Office added, “To say Bruiser had a joyous homecoming would be putting it lightly.”

Though Tyler was shocked to see Bruiser when he came home, they were both happy to be back together. Tyler's immediate reaction was to hug Bruiser, and he started sobbing simultaneously. At the same time, Bruiser expressed his joy and excitement by wagging his tail and licking Tyler.
[Tyler] was simply overcome when his parents surprised him with his best friend,” the Highlands County Sheriff's Office added. “The two have been inseparable since.”
