Unwanted "Kangaroo" Dog Born With Six Legs Finally Gets Adopted By Teenager Who Is No Stranger To Being Bullied
Roo is an eight-week-old Labrador mix. She got her name from a kangaroo because she typically hops around using her back legs.
When she takes a walk, Roo rests on her elbows and raises her bottom in the air. Sometimes, her unusual way of getting around can be a bit worrisome and troublesome.
The explanation is quite simple: Roo, the Labrador mix, was born with six legs.
Yes, there are two additional legs located at the front. Roo was advertised by a breeder on the internet, where she was first spotted.
Fifteen-year-old Luke, the son of Lauren Salmon, was the one who saw the advertisement. Immediately, the family realized they needed to adopt her.
Given that she was born with a deformity, they understood that the breeder would ultimately have her euthanized if Roo couldn't find a forever home.
When Luke and Lauren went to get Roo, the little pooch bounced out of her pen and hopped on her back legs, showing that she was glad to see them.
Lauren and Luke could immediately see that she was brimming with life, despite her little imperfections.

Lauren tells Fox News that Roo is full of puppy energy, so they would describe her as placid yet playful.

Lauren further added that there are very few dogs like Roo out there. "I think the breeders kill them off because they’re not worth anything, but to us, she’s priceless," Lauren says.
Lauren Salmon’s 15-year-old son, Luke, was the one to notice Roo being advertised online

Since Roo stepped into her new home, she and Luke have become inseparable buddies. Furthermore, Luke understands what it feels like to be left out, as he suffers from psoriasis.
This skin condition causes him to have red patches all over, which leads to him being bullied at school.
Roo has also gained a new doggie sibling, as well as two cats and two rabbits!

However, he now has a close companion, and so does Roo. In addition to finding a forever home with loving pawrents, Roo has also gained a new dog sibling, along with two rabbits and two cats!
Now, that is one big happy family.

Nonetheless, Lauren is collaborating with Dr. Noel Fitzpatrick to see if anything can be done to help improve Roo's mobility. While her additional two legs prevent Roo from walking like any other dog, they don't cause her any pain.
