Puppy Found In Ukrainian Forest Snuggling With A Homeless Man
A tiny puppy in a Ukrainian forest found comfort in the last place anyone would expect, curled up beside a homeless man who was doing his best to keep him alive.
After losing his siblings to illness, the little dog had only one chance left, and a rescue team from Love Furry Friends eventually tracked him down at a campsite in the woods. What they found was a heartbreaking but gentle scene, with the man and the puppy warming each other and sharing what little they had.
Then came the part that changed everything for Johnny.
A rescue team found the pup with a homeless man in a Ukrainian forest. The pair were huddling together, keeping each other warm.
The pup was one of eight, but all of his siblings had passed away from an unknown illness.
It’s a similar rescue story to the stray dog hiding in a cemetery with barely walkable, tender paws.
The pup was given the name Johnny.
Thankfully, Johnny was free from any viruses or infections. Considering the conditions the pup had been living in and that his siblings had all passed away, Johnny was in surprisingly good health.
The vet estimated that Johnny was about five months old at the time he was rescued. He was vaccinated and treated for parasites.
Poor little Johnny had been hungry for such a long time; he was greedily swallowing down food without even chewing. It would take some time for his little body to adapt.
The vet advised that Johnny would need to gradually increase his food intake because he had been consuming such a tiny amount of food. His diet would take some time to normalize, as his body needed time to adjust.

Sadly, there are approximately 734,240 people living on the streets each night in Ukraine. Most of these homeless individuals receive little to no help, mostly fending for themselves.
