Stray Cat Introduces Her Kittens To The Woman That's Been Feeding Her
A couple of months ago, Shea Prior noticed a stray kitty wandering around her yard. After some time, the cat gained enough trust to come close enough for Shea to give her some food.
The woman was so happy that she continued to feed the stray cat in the following days. Eventually, she noticed that the cat was lactating, indicating that she probably had kittens hidden nearby.
"I was petting her and went to pick her up, and that's when I realized she had milk and had been nursing some babies," Prior told the reporters. She was both enthusiastic and worried, knowing she had to find the mama cat and her kittens.
She looked everywhere but couldn't find any kittens and casually asked the cat where the babies were. I mean, what else can you do other than ask a cat a question you want the answer to?
"I started telling her to show me her babies, and I bet her babies were so pretty," Prior wrote.

The morning after, Prior went to her lawn to water the flowers and saw the mama cat rushing to her—and she was not alone.
"She came running up to me and rubbed against my leg while making her little croaking noise," Prior said. "She led me over to my shed, and when I looked inside, I saw a couple of little fluffballs staring back at me. She flopped over on her side and started calling them to come out and see me."

The woman managed to establish a trusting relationship with the mama cat, who, as a sign of respect and love, wanted to show off her five small babies to her.
The kittens were scared at first until their mom showed them that it was all right and safe. When they got the OK, they happily rushed to meet the nice lady.

"One of the little gray ones was super brave and came up to me with his little pointy tail held high in the air and let me pet him immediately," Prior said. "Eventually, after about 10 to 15 minutes, they all came up to me and let me hold and pet them."

When she met the whole family, the woman knew she had to help them. She managed to find loving homes for all five kittens and adopted the mom herself.

Shea is so thankful that the mama cat was smart enough to bring her babies to her, and now they’ll all have wonderful forever homes.
