If we had a dollar for every time we found a cat story adorable, we'd be millionaires by now. But we can't help it; cat stories are just the right way to boost your serotonin levels.

Fortunately, it's impossible to run out of cat stories because the entire internet is in love with these beauties.

No matter how flooded the internet might be with these feline tales, some are so incredibly awesome that you can feel your heart melt as you read them.

Today, we've got one of those wholesome reports for you. Interestingly, this cat has one of the most unique names you'll ever see.

Placeholder, a Persian Ragdoll mix, was taken in by a couple to assist a coworker whose daughter is allergic. While he didn't stay long, he has since found a forever home, a girlfriend, and is now a father of three.

This story is inspiring because it captures Placeholder's progress and allows us to share the joy of having a family.

And who doesn't like a story about a bunch of purrfect fluffballs? Only people with bad vibes, if you ask us.

It's so lovely to witness this cat's growth and the joy it brings his owners. You're already excited at the thought of this, aren't you?

Then it's good that we've got a gallery full of teeny Placeholders below. So sit back, relax, and brace yourself for some bursts of feelings.

1. Meet Placeholder, the heart-stealer

My girlfriend's coworker got a cat from a breeder. He is a Ragdoll-Persian mix. They discovered that her daughter is highly allergic. We already have two cats and took him in because we had all the supplies. Better than a shelter, we thought. She paid 400 € for him, and now we can't decide if we should give him his forever home or if we should try to place him with some friends or family. We call him 'Kitty' for now.

2. They got ‘Placeholder’ a home with a family friend, and it looks like he’s thriving and making friends too. We love to see that!!

A few months ago, my girlfriend and I took in a young kitten from a coworker because her daughter had allergies. Even though it broke my heart, we had to give him away. Our apartment is simply too small for three cats. I called him 'Placeholder.' He has since found his forever home with a family member of ours, and his name is now 'Bacardi.' He even got a little friend, 'Gin,' which, by the love of science, I could not get in front of my phone.

3. He’s a father now!

We took in a little guy who couldn't stay at his home due to allergies a while ago. He found a loving home with a family member of ours. He even got a girlfriend and recently became a dad. I proudly present: Cuba, Hemingway, and Mojito (left to right).

5. Cutty? You meant to type Cutie, right? We doubt there can be any other animal as cute as cats.

6. "Proud mother (Gin)"

It shouldn’t be possible to pop out three babies and still look as adorable as a newborn. Since it’s Gin, we understand why it’s possible for her, though.

Daddy and Mommy (Bacardi & Gin). The dad himself likes to play with his sons and daughters a little too roughly and agreed to part-time visitation rights.

Don’t you love happy endings? They are the best parts of stories about rescue cats. Although this couple could not adopt ‘Placeholder,’ we’re glad they were still a part of his story and did not hesitate to share those parts with us.

We hope this story has been able to prove to you that rescuing a cat could potentially be one of the best things you could ever do for both the cat and yourself. It’s a win-win for everyone in the end.
