Apollo's mum, Kaity Kimball, explains that;
He's relentless when it comes to something he wants. It doesn't matter if it's a ball, a cookie, or anything else. He will not give up until he gets it. This kind of creates problems when he's trying to get into the garbage, though. He won't stop until he gets what he wants!
Apollo is one dog that marches to the beat of his own drum, and that makes him all the more lovable! You can't help but admire the way he always finds a new approach to achieving his goals.
It seems as if Apollo has been practicing for a while to perfect his skill set. However, you've got to admire a dog that tries so hard, even if it keeps missing the mark.

KAITY KIMBALLIt makes no difference how difficult the task is; no mountain is too high for Apollo to climb. During outdoor activities like playing catch, he's always relentless to get the ball and finish his task, despite his lack of natural talent for catching objects.
He has actually never been able to play true 'fetch', Kaity said. He can catch really big toys that are hard to miss. He has a plush pickle toy that's about the same size as him, and that's about the only thing he can catch on the first try.Apollo playing catch with mum.
KAITY KIMBALLRegardless, Apollo gives it his all with every throw of the ball. Although it may take him some time, the ball always finds its way into his mouth.
On a particular day, Apollo was itching to go out for some exercise. Suddenly, an idea popped into Kaity's head—she decided to capture his goofy attempts in slow motion.
At first, she didn't really know what to expect. But surprisingly, the video turned out to be an absolute rib cracker.

I laughed really hard and sent the video to my whole family. They know how goofy Apollo can be so that video is perfect.This video shows just how hilarious his tenacity can be.
The slow-motion effect made every miss amusing, and it took Apollo numerous tries to ultimately get the ball. On the other hand, Apollo was completely unconcerned— all that mattered was that he got his prized ball.
Apollo is never embarrassed, Kaity said. He marches to the beat of his own drum and forgets most things right after they happen. The only thing he doesn't forget is what time dinner is.The video wonderfully captures Apollo's unique nature. He's just a cute, goofy dog who never quits no matter what.
