PSA: A Job Exists Where You Can Get Paid $32,000 To Cuddle Pandas All Day
Some jobs sound too strange to be real, until you find out they actually pay. In China, one of those jobs is panda caretaker, and it comes with a salary that is getting plenty of attention.
At the Giant Panda Protection and Research Center, workers can reportedly earn $32,000 a year while spending their days around the animals. The role is described as important, demanding, and a lot less glamorous than it first sounds.
That is where the cute factor meets the reality check, and the details make the job even more interesting.
But it's not all fun and games. "You need perseverance for this job," China Daily continues.

And if you think the panda base sounds strict, it’s nothing like a couple paying to snitch on neighbors who don’t clean up after their dogs.
"We expect that the applicants will be mainly white-collar workers from big cities. They are used to eating whatever they want, but inside the giant panda base, the choices will not be plentiful."

Well, I don't know about you, but I'm getting my application ready as we speak!
