Emotional Moment When Dog Comforts Stranger In Airport Who Just Lost His Pet
Dogs and their owners share one of the most unbreakable bonds you’ll ever find. Even science proves that these canines are capable of forming a relationship as deep as that of a mother and her child with their owners.
That’s why one of the most challenging things a dog owner can ever go through is losing their dog. It opens up a void in their lives that they may never be able to fill.
Unfortunately, most dog owners will one day have to go through this, as the lifespan of a dog is between 10 and 13 years. The good news, though, is that some dog breeds, like the Croatian Sheepdog, Finnish Spitz, Sussex Spaniel, and others, can live longer.
Despite this, these canines don’t have the same life expectancy as the average human. When a human loses their dog, the pain they feel is similar to what they’d feel if they lost a family member.
Thankfully, little pleasures in life can help ease that pain, even if it may be just for a little while.
We found a heartwarming story about how a dog offered comfort to a stranger who had just lost his dog. We bet you’d love to read it too.

Madison and her furry companion

Dog owner Madison Palm loves taking her 8-year-old therapy dog, Cora, everywhere, so it wasn’t unusual for Cora to accompany her on a trip from their home in Idaho to Alaska.
Meeting someone special

Palm and Cora were at the airport in Seattle when Cora approached a stranger seated a few seats away. Palm was used to this due to Cora’s friendly nature.
However, she soon realized that there was something special about Cora’s gesture this time.
Afraid to be a bother, Palm asked the stranger if he minded Cora’s gesture. He responded that he had lost his dog the night before.
A gifted pup

Palm marveled at how gifted her dog was. How could it have known that this man needed emotional support?
The incident only confirmed how special her pup was. The stranger Cora approached was in tears as the dog stayed to comfort him.
Palm shared that she had always known Cora could tell when someone needed help, but the dog still surprised her daily.
Dogs are truly special. And that’s not only because they can be trained to exhibit specific talents but also because they are naturally excellent!
If you have a dog, we don’t doubt you’ve had your share of fascination with your furry friend. Well, that’s your cue to learn something from your dog today!
