Beautifully Sad Twitter Thread Honors The Dog Heroes Of 9/11
It's pretty safe to say that most of us will remember exactly where we were and what we were doing when we found out about the September 11 terrorist attacks in 2001. It was a moment in history we will never forget.
Thousands of people risked their lives helping to rescue victims in the aftermath, but some of those heroes have since sadly been forgotten. There were many search and rescue dogs amid the heroes of 9/11. They helped to save countless lives and offer hope where there seemed to be none. Some of them lost their lives.
Twitter user 'ClayandBirds,' decided to give some of these canine heroes the attention and honor they deserve, with a Twitter thread dedicated to the 9/11 doggies.
Scroll down and prepare to have your heart warmed by some of the most beautiful fur-heroes!
