Silly Cat Is Exceptionally Bad At Hiding, And It's Hilarious

Keanu the kitten has a talent for making hiding look a lot harder than it should be. The silly cat was rescued from an industrial warehouse while his human mom was working there, and after a shy start, he settled into family life fast.

Now he is friendly, curious, and apparently convinced that every hiding spot is a masterpiece. His owner, Dani Baker, says he gets creative with whatever furniture is around, but the results are usually more funny than stealthy.

From sneaking around the house to claiming the Christmas tree as his latest hideout, Keanu keeps proving that he is adorable, awkward, and impossible not to laugh at.

"He hides in different spots," Dani said of her cat. "He gets creative, depending on the furniture around."

"But it's always in the room where his dad is. We joke that Keanu is always spying or keeping a watchful eye on his dad."

Keanu certainly knows all the fun spots to hide, even though most of the time, his family can see exactly where he is. It seems he is blissfully unaware that he is visible every time.

"He thinks we absolutely cannot see him," Dani said. "We call to him (and he normally meows back), but when he's hiding, he doesn't respond. Even if we tap his feet to let him know we see him, he won't move."

Keanu always has his reasons for hiding, whether he's seeking a moment of privacy for a quick nap or just wants to keep a close watch on his family.

He really commits to the bit.

This is peak “don’t you dare” energy, like Oliver’s malicious compliance, “Stop it!”

Unsurprisingly, Keanu's latest favorite place to hide is under the Christmas tree. You keep doing you, Keanu!

And somehow, he still thinks he's invisible.
