These BFF Foster Cats Are So Close That They Hold Each Other's Paws
Some kittens arrive at a foster home with a rough start, and Lily and Rosa brought plenty of that with them. One was a Siamese mix, the other a sleek black kitten, and both were in bad shape when they landed in Florida.
Andrea Christian, who fosters for St. Francis Society Animal Rescue, took them in separately at first, then watched something sweet happen once they finally met. Lily was weak and recovering from toxoplasmosis, while Rosa was underweight and scared, but the two quickly latched onto each other.
Now they are inseparable, and the only real question is whether they can find a forever home together.
Andrea worked hard to make sure the two kittens felt safe and at home.

When Lily had finished her course of antibiotics, Andrea decided to introduce her to Rosa.

"It was love at first sniff!"

The bond only got stronger from there.
Lily was still quite weak and was suffering from Toxoplasmosis, but Rosa seemed to help Lily regain her strength.

The pair have been inseparable ever since, following each other around, napping together, and eating their meals together.
They even hold each other's paws!

That made the next step a little more delicate.
For another unlikely comfort duo, watch the rescue piglet and orphaned kitten become instant best friends.
"They are still shy," Andrea said. "They are coming out into the general population with the other fosters during the day now, which is huge."The challenge for the duo now is to find a forever home where they can stay together and continue their friendship.

Good luck, Lily and Rosa!
