Young Bull Likes Sneaking Into The House Whenever He Sees An Unlocked Door
Sven the bull has a habit that makes his owner laugh and groan at the same time. Raised alongside six dogs, he has picked up plenty of canine behavior, including a strong interest in sneaking indoors whenever a door is left open.
He lives on a busy 9-acre farm with cats, dogs, goats, pigs, chickens, pigeons, and even a parrot, so there is always something going on. But Sven seems especially drawn to the house, where he is not supposed to be because the tile floor can be slippery and dangerous for him.
That has not stopped him from testing the rules every chance he gets, and one unlocked door is usually all it takes.

Sven isn't allowed to go inside because he can slip on the floor tiles and get hurt. So, he and his siblings must stay outside for their own safety. But every once in a while, Sven likes to test his luck.
Anytime the door is open longer than a few minutes, he will make a break for it. Cows are super, super curious animals, and when he was a baby, he was sick for a few days and lived in my laundry room for a while, so he was used to being inside. He rarely makes it inside anymore because I make sure to lock the doorknob.

In this video, Fredericks was in the house when she suddenly realized she had forgotten to close the door all the way. She knew what was about to happen and even did a little countdown. Within seconds, Sven casually walked in and started his tour around the house.
This reminds us of Sarge, the 9-year-old German Shepherd, lovingly adopting orphaned fawns.
Fortunately, Sven adores treats, so Fredericks had no trouble luring him outside again. It’s highly unlikely this will be the last time Sven tries to get into the house. After all, curiosity and determination are his main traits.
I usually laugh if he makes it inside and just grab some treats to bribe him back outside before any damage is done. Cows are very food-motivated, so he normally walks right out for a cookie. He did get in a few months ago and made it all the way to my bedroom and woke me up.

The house rules may say that Sven isn’t allowed in the house, but he doesn’t seem to care too much about them. He will keep trying indefinitely, and Fredericks will keep giggling and luring him out again with treats. But she doesn’t really mind because she loves Sven so much.
