Stray Cat Gets Crocheted Ears And Finds Her Forever Home The Next Day
A stray cat with a big personality just got an even bigger glow-up. After losing her ear flaps to medical issues, Lady in a Fur Coat, known simply as Lady, was given a pair of crocheted ears by a kind DCHS staffer. Then came the sweetest touch of all, when Ash Collins crocheted her a tiny replacement pair that made her look even more lovable.
One Facebook photo later, Lady’s story took off, and her forever home arrived almost immediately. Read on.
Despite having her ears removed, Lady is a very happy and affectionate cat who loves giving head bumps to every new human she meets.

Being a stray, DCHS was unsure how she would be around other animals, but that didn't stop her—and her adorable new ears—from finding her forever home super quickly!

People could not get enough of her sweet little makeover.
Here's how people reacted.

It was the kind of post that practically begged for a happy update.
It also echoes the foster family who restored a cat’s trust after her ears were sliced.

Well done, Lucky! We wish you all the very best in your forever home!
