Video of An Indonesian Police Officer Helping A Cat Cross The Road Quickly Goes Viral And It Is Adorable
Sometimes the smallest acts of kindness are the ones people remember most. In Indonesia, a police officer stopped traffic for a cat that wanted to cross a busy road, and the moment was caught on video.
The clip shows Brigadier Satria helping the cat make it safely to the other side instead of shooing her away. The scene is simple, but that is exactly why it spread so quickly, people loved seeing a calm, unexpected bit of compassion in the middle of traffic.
The cat looked completely unbothered, and the internet was delighted. Read on.
After spotting a cat attempting to cross the road, this police officer decided to help her.

Last year, the police department of the Musi Banyuasin district in Sekayu, Indonesia, published a video showing a police officer helping a cat cross a busy road.

The policeman named Brigadier Satria saw the cat, and instead of pushing her away, he stopped the traffic to let the cat cross the street.

The cat walks with her head held high, as if she is thinking, “Thank God someone finally shares my high opinion of myself.”

The video quickly went viral, with many people applauding the police officer for keeping the cat safe.
People online were clearly charmed by the whole thing.
Cats of the world can feel safe when officers like Satria are on duty.
And just like police rescuing a sloth trapped on the highway, this officer stepped in fast to keep her safe.

Do you think the officer acted appropriately?
A tiny traffic stop, a very pleased cat, and a lot of goodwill.
That “cat arrest” moment is nothing compared to the Bangkok officers getting scratched during a mugshot photo shoot.
