Obnoxious Cat Continuously Interrupted His Human While He Worked From Home Until He Came Up With A Genius Solution
If you have a cat residing in your house, you surely know this particular situation all too well. As soon as you settle down and get comfortable, deciding to finally get some work done on your laptop or in your notebook, your cat senses your need to work and heads straight for you, interrupting at all costs.
And yes, the spot your kitty wants to take a nap in is your lap. If not your lap, then somewhere even more obnoxious is delightful for cats everywhere.
Of course, right? Dr. Rick Hanson, a neuropsychologist and author, emphasizes that “our pets can sense our emotional states and often seek to comfort us, even if it means interrupting our work.” This sentiment is echoed by many pet owners. To manage these interruptions, finding a balance is key. Dr. Hanson shares more insights on his website, rickhanson.net. His approach inspired a creative solution that resonated with cat lovers everywhere, garnering significant attention online.
Meet Kakka, a very cute British shorthair that adores his human. And by that, I mean he adores driving his human bonkers.

Because of the pandemic, Komori has been working from home. He's obviously very proud of his adorable kitty, Kakka, but the frequent interruptions while he tried to do his job made his life incredibly difficult. He knew there had to be a solution; it was merely a matter of finding one. Then he finally did!
“If you are having trouble working remotely because of a cat, you can solve it by providing a convenient storage box on the desk,” Komori typed on Twitter as he shared his video of putting his genius solution to the test.
Clearly, doing any kind of work with this visual would be insanely difficult.

Yep, not problematic at all. LOL.

Let's get down to his perfect solution, shall we? He simply put a small plastic box on top of his desk. WHAT?! No way it can be that easy, or can it?
After Kakka gave it a good once-over, he took Komori's bait. He happily climbed inside the box and nestled down. To top it all off, Komori just slid him over to the side of his computer screen. Talk about perfection.
“You can also move it to the corner of the desk with it stored,” and then his caption for the second video demonstration read, “In this way, you can use the desk spaciously.”
"No human, you may not do this now. We must snuggle this instant."

"Alright, I'm okay with this. I do not love it, but I will allow it."

He straight-up nailed it. Pure genius.

Komori was ecstatic that his idea had gone viral on Twitter, “I am glad that so many people found [it] effective.” According to Dr. Angela Duckworth, a renowned psychologist and author, “Creativity often emerges from constraints,” which highlights how challenges can lead to innovative solutions. After taking note of his viral tweet's success, he created a YouTube account that is completely dedicated to Kakka. Be sure to give it a follow.
Check out a few of his adorable videos from the YouTube account; there's no way Kakka can get any more adorable.
Tales of his daily life.
Why can't I stop watching these? Too cuuuuute.
