Cat Loves Sleeping In Her Human's Backpack So Much, Her Family Made Her A Hazard Sign
Two and a half years ago, Willow, the cat, wandered into Andrew Zutty's house. Andrew and his family kindly decided to foster the sweet cat until they could find her a forever home; however, it wasn't long before they realized that Willow wasn't going anywhere.
"We were only planning on keeping her until we could find her a home, but honestly, one look into her eyes, and you're done," Zutty said. The family fell in love with this cat!
Honestly, that's basically a cat's version of "tale as old as time." When you foster a cat, it's just so easy to fall in love with her!
Soon after adopting Willow, the family noticed that one of the cat's favorite hobbies was finding random hiding spots to nap in. Since Willow is a small kitty, she had plenty of tricky spots to choose from.
“You’ll often be surprised to find her stuffed inside various things around the house,” Zutty said.

“Her favorite spots are the deep, dark places: under the covers, in furniture, inside suitcases, and apparently now my old backpack.”

Andrew had intended to get rid of the old backpack, but as soon as Willow laid eyes on it, she claimed it as her new favorite sleeping place.
The silly kitty spends hours in the bag, and because of her size, it can sometimes be hard to tell she's in there. Willow's family quickly became aware that her sleeping habits were becoming a little dangerous.

“My roommate smartly realized that this was a recipe for disaster,” Zutty said.
“She’s so small that it really just looks like an empty backpack lying flat on the ground. So he wrote up a great little sign to make sure everyone in the house knew when it was currently occupied.”
Andrew's roommate was concerned that someone might unknowingly step on the backpack while Willow was napping inside. So, he made her a hazard sign saying, "Cat inside, do not step."
The family places the sign on top of the backpack whenever Willow is taking her sneaky nap. Now she can snooze for as long as she likes with no worries.

“I’m sure it will continue to come in handy as Willow finds more hiding spots around the house,” Zutty said.
