Cheeky Cat Opened Tupperware All By Herself and Took a Bite Out of Each Cookie
A naughty cat made no effort to hide how smug she was after she opened a Tupperware and took a bite out of each cookie inside. For cat lovers around the world, we are quite familiar with the shenanigans our cats can get into, which is why this cat's naughty behavior is unbearably adorable.
Nellie, the cat, like most of us, loves food. Her owner, Allison Riebel, describes her cat as “lives to eat instead of eating to live,” which is pretty much par for the course for many cats. Nellie’s love for snacks is so strong that her owners even managed to teach her tricks mostly reserved for dogs—sit, fetch, and high-five—by enticing her with treats.
However, working for food doesn’t always agree with Nellie, and she recently got her paws on some snacks behind her owners’ backs. Clever cat!

Allison is a volunteer at the Wildlife Medical Clinic of the University of Illinois, and she wanted to treat her fellow volunteers to some homemade cookies. Knowing Nellie was around, she tried to protect them and decided to seal them in a Tupperware.
The container seemed a safe enough place, impossible for a cat to open. Apparently, no plastic container is safe when Nellie notices treats.

The cunning cat somehow opened the Tupperware and, probably as proof of her victory, took a bite of each cookie, as if to say, “Nellie was here.”

Allison commented on this funny situation:
“Nellie somehow opened the container and took all the cookies out onto the floor.
The funny thing is, I know she took them all out separately because if she had just knocked them out of the container, the cookies would have broken. But they were spread out across our dining room floor with little bites taken out of each.
So she took them all out individually and did it quietly enough to avoid being noticed.”

Allison became aware of the theft when the cat knocked something over, prompting her to see what was happening.
She saw her cookies scattered all over the floor, each with bite marks on them. You don’t have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out what happened.
Although Nellie was most likely aware that the cookies weren’t made for her, she was extremely pleased with her accomplishment, and a photo shows the cat smirking at her owner as if waiting for applause.

Allison continues:
“She did not seem guilty. She plays it off very well. It’s both infuriating and hilarious. She’s very proud of herself.”
Obviously, there is nothing this cat can’t do when it comes to food.
