Cat Enjoys Stealing Shoes From The Neighboring Houses And His Owner Started A Facebook Group To Return Them To Their Owners
Cats can be curious, mischievous, and a little too good at entertaining themselves, but Jordan took that reputation to another level. The six-pound black-and-white cat from Altoona, Pennsylvania, has been sneaking out at night and coming home with shoes from all over the neighborhood, turning a strange habit into a full-blown local mystery.
His owner, BJ Ross, started a Facebook group to help track down the shoes and return them to their owners, but the posts quickly drew attention for another reason: Jordan’s nightly routine kept getting bigger. With every new pair, or single shoe, the story became less about a missing item and more about a cat with a very busy social life.
Now the neighborhood is watching to see what Jordan brings home next.

Jordan’s owners find several shoes every morning

They have over 50 now:

He looks very proud of his accomplishment.

If y’all know my cat Jordan, y’all know he loves to bring me home shoes!” Jordan’s owner wrote.

After finding out the truth about Jordan’s secret life, his owner placed a GPS tracker on him.

The data from the GPS tracker revealed that this cat burglar covers a large area and makes numerous visits to homes all over the neighborhood. This may be because he wants complete pairs but can only take one shoe at a time.
This is the same kind of trouble as “Klepto Kitty,” the cat burglar caught on CCTV with a knife.
He can walk up to seven or eight miles every night while searching for new opportunities.

His owner installed a security cam to gather more evidence.

Ross started a Facebook group where people can chat about Jordan and his felonies, and maybe get their shoes back.
