Cat Stars In This Viral Video Really Sounding Like A Human
One TikTok cat has people doing a double take after a bathroom-floor video made it sound like she was asking a very human question. The clip, posted by Ike Tommy, caught his cat meowing from just outside the bathroom, and the timing made the sound come off almost like speech.
Tommy turned the camera back to her after hearing what sounded like, “Are you coming?” but the cat quickly dropped the act and went back to regular meows. That tiny switch is exactly why the video has people talking, because it feels just believable enough to make you listen twice.
Now the comments are having just as much fun as the cat did.

The following meow sounded eerily like, “Are you coming?” Tommy turned the camera to capture her human-like words once more, but she decided only to make mewing sounds.
The video received 24,000 comments, and most of them agree that it would be awesome if animals could talk.
