Cat Returns Home After One Of His Adventures With A Note Around His Neck
Cats have a talent for disappearing at the worst possible time, then strolling back home like nothing happened. One Thai cat owner got a much clearer answer than most when his missing pet returned after three days with a note tied around his neck.
The message pointed to a local fish market, where the cat had apparently been making himself useful, or at least hungry. What followed was less of a mystery and more of a very feline kind of bill.
By the time the note was read, the whole adventure had turned into a tiny neighborhood story. Read on.
It turned out that during the days he was missing, the naughty cat spent some time at the local fish market. There, he apparently did some "business" with one of the merchants.
"Your cat kept eyeing the mackerels at my stall, so I gave him three," the message read.
This “mackerel bill” feels like the sister called a b*tch for stealing an old woman’s cat.
You might suppose that the mackerel handoff was an act of kindness. But apparently, it was just a business transaction.
The fish seller wrote his contact information, probably so that the cat's owner could find him to pay the bill. We don't know if this cat's prodigal nature has led his owner to restrict his movement, but we are sure that going on a spending spree is much easier when someone else is picking up the tab.
Want payback that spirals? See how the cat “starts off petty revenge” in this years-later return.
