Friendly Dog Won't Stop Petting The Other Dogs At Daycare, And Their Reaction Is Just Priceless
Ruby is the kind of dog who turns a regular daycare drop-off into a full-on scene. The German Shorthaired Pointer has been winning attention online after a video showed her gently petting the other dogs at Den Doggy Daycare in Burlington, Ontario.
Her behavior left plenty of pups looking confused, but it also made her impossible not to love. Ruby goes to daycare with her brother Miles, and one day a woman noticed that Ruby had a very unusual way of saying hello.
It did not take long for the clip to spread, and once people saw Ruby in action, they had plenty to say about her sweet little routine.
One day, a woman filmed Ruby petting the other dogs, and it quickly went viral after she posted it on the internet.
“She usually starts with her brother Miles, and as the other dogs in daycare start to chill out, she will get to work on them as well. Miles doesn’t seem interested in giving pets, just receiving.”
“We think it started with trying to get Miles’ attention or to play with him, and just evolved from there. Most of her friends at daycare don’t mind and see it as her playing with them,” Spencer told us.
“She does it every time she is in. We think she wants attention!” dog Lexy’s owner, Alanah Lorraine, told the Dodo.
Everyone instantly fell in love with Ruby. They just couldn't get enough of her adorable petting!
Ruby’s daycare routine clearly comes with a few surprises.
“For the last three years, we have won the award from the Burlington Post for Best Doggy Daycare. Our staff that work with the dogs are the absolute backbone of our service and are amazing with the dogs; we could never do this without the team we have.”
“We are so grateful to see everyone enjoying the video Alanah made, and now everyone gets to experience the happiness dogs like Ruby bring us every day,” Spencer added.

The other dogs in the daycare were often confused by Ruby's petting since they are not used to anything of that sort. The best part about this is the dogs' reactions after Ruby pets them. They're absolutely priceless!
“Most dogs aren’t bothered by it and just let it happen,” Alanah said.
Ruby’s daycare cuddles are giving the same vibe as a little girl playing with 14 dogs, and everyone melts.
