Woman Asks Her Sister To Look After Her Dog For A Weekend And Sends A PDF Instruction On How To Do It Right
Some pet-sitting jobs are simple, and some come with a full operating manual. In this case, one woman did not just hand her sister a leash and a food bowl, she sent over a detailed PDF guide for looking after Gus for the weekend.
The instructions quickly caught attention online because they were so specific, from his schedule to his quirks and even a few warning signs. What started as a favor between sisters turned into a viral conversation about whether Gus is just well cared for, or a little too much work.
Either way, the guide left people talking, and Gus may have become the most organized dog on the internet. Read on.
A woman receives an explanatory “A Weekend with Gus” guidebook from her sister before she does some dog-sitting for her

The Twitter user bewwbie shared the guidebook that her sister sent to her. “I’m dog-sitting for my sister this weekend, and look what I just received as a PDF,” she said. The amusing and helpful brochure went viral quickly. “I know entirely too much and too little about Gus now,” a user named Anonanimal3000 noted. We can’t blame him; we all feel that way.
The instruction book is named “A Weekend with Gus” and contains information about his daily life

“Gus does best when he adheres to a strict schedule,” the instruction book begins. “He can become rambunctious if he gets to decide how the day goes!” The sister then states that Gus needs to go outside every two hours. But “potty time does not mean outside playtime. He will try to trick you… stay on your toes,” Gus’s owner advises her dog sitter.
The guide also includes a fast facts section. It features fun traits such as “he throws up in the car if he has eaten recently” and “he is obsessed with socks and paper from the trash.”
Commands, routine, and some fun facts also had good coverage

The second page of the guide provides more information about Gus’s routine, meals, nap time, and that water should always be available to him.
Gus also knows what “NO” means, and it should be used whenever he does something he is not supposed to do.
Some people got the impression that Gus may be a little high maintenance. “That’s so cute; I can almost overlook that Gus is way too high maintenance,” someone said. “I think Gus is perfectly fine, and it’s his mom who is a helicopter mom,” another person responded.
Speaking of ignoring instructions, this reminds us of the friend who made the dog overweight.
