As an owner of a large breed dog, a 50/50 split of Black Labrador and American Pit Bull Terrier, I have always feared small dogs more than large ones. To this day, I cringe at small breed dogs.
And just like the post where dog lovers argued black dogs vs white dogs, it’s really behavior, not coat color: the viral black-dog danger claim.

As a responsible pet owner, keep in mind that it is 110% your responsibility to train your dog, big or small. It is imperative that you do, in fact, train your dog, because when interacting with other humans that it may or may not feel threatened by, you are the responsible party if anything happens to another person.
Take heart, my friends; all animals want to obey; however, they need to be taught how to act first. Give them that opportunity.
