Adorable Cat With Four Ears And Only One Eye Finds An Owner To Love Him Forever
Cats do not usually arrive with a built-in headline, but Frankie makes an unforgettable first impression. With four ears, one eye, and a face full of personality, this little cat has a look that is impossible to ignore.
Frankie’s story starts with a stray mother cat, a shelter stay, and a long list of health challenges that could have made adoption harder. Instead, one shelter worker saw past the unusual features and brought him home, where his quirks quickly turned into part of his charm.
Now Frankie has a forever family, and his journey is every bit as sweet as it is unusual. Read on.
Meet Frankie.
Yes, Frankie is short for Frankenkitten.
He was born to a stray cat and found under a house with another sibling. The homeowners took the pair in for a few weeks to socialize them before taking them to a shelter to be rehomed.
When Frankie was taken to the shelter, he still had both his eyes. Unfortunately, one ruptured and needed to be removed.
He also has a large overbite and joint problems in his back legs.
Oh, and he has four ears!
That is a lot for one tiny cat to carry.
Frankie's new owner worked at the shelter and took him home to care for him after his eye was removed.
In a conversation with Bored Panda, Georgi Anderson said:
“I went and saw him prior to his procedure and right away was struck by how sweet-natured he was. After a few hours of having him home in recovery, I knew he was special in a way I couldn’t quite describe.”
Frankie’s search for a forever home feels similar to the “too affectionate” cat hoomans who returned him.
Unfortunately, Frankie's health problems do impact his daily life.
His smaller front ears mildly affect his hearing, as they vaguely act as earmuffs to his bigger ears.
Frankie's joint problems cause him to walk "splay-legged," but they don't impact his ability to play, nor do they cause him any pain.
He copes well with only having one eye, although his night vision isn't as good as that of other cats'.
Frankie's overbite causes him to struggle to eat wet food, but he is becoming adept at using his tongue to get dry food into his mouth.
“His personality is very cheeky, but he gets away with it because he is also very sweet. He is not overly intelligent, which has been a noted trait in some other cats with four ears. I doubt he would fare well outside. He would see a car and think it was something to play with. But he is so loving and affectionate and seems to sense when I have had a difficult day. I almost would say he has a dog-like personality.”
Frankie’s personality seems to be every bit as memorable as his looks.
Frankie loves to play with his brother, Lucius Malfoy.
In typical cheeky cat manner, Frankie loves to annoy the dogs!

Frankie already has the kind of ending most shelter cats can only hope for.
