Precious Kitten Saved From Certain Death Befriends Life-Saving Husky Dogs
Four years ago, Rosie was an adorable kitten with a seemingly dark fate ahead of her. Nobody thought she would make it, the kitten was dying.
That's where Lilo the Husky came into the picture. Lilo took Rosie on as a pup of her own and nursed the sweet kitten back to health.
Rosie was only 3 weeks old but her and Lilo bonded perfectly and after a mere week of Lilo tending to the desperate kitten, she opened her eyes and began walking. What a miracle for the little kitten to survive such harrowing statistics!
Now, time has passed, and not only did Rosie defy the odds stacked against her but today she is living the good cat life with her new Husky family. We always appreciate tales of cats and kittens overcoming adversity, and we're pretty sure you'll find this cat's particular story totally inspiring.
When they first found Rosie, it looked bad.
The family's owners turned to Instagram when Rosie's journey began, writing:
“She almost did not make it through the first night, even with round the clock care. Our cute kitten was lethargic and limp. So we decided to go out on a limb and let her cuddle extensively with our husky dog Lilo. By some miracle, she started suckling on Lilo and Lilo went full ‘mom mode’ and because of that this story has a happy ending.”
The relationship is anything but common. In fact, Lilo's owners warned their followers:
"“Huskies are notorious for their intense prey drive!! So please please don’t run out and get a kitten (or a husky) expecting them to be best friends.”"
Still, rescue is a passion of Lilo's Human Family.
In an interview with Bored Panda, they said:
“We are three sisters who live in California and have been in love with animals from the start."

They added:
“Ever since we were little, we would take in strays and feed them! We raise money through selling dog bows and bandanas and all proceeds go towards our TNR projects that we do for feral cats!"
The family is dedicated to rescue.
They now run Mini Cat Town, a Non-Profit Neonatal Kitten Rescue!

Rosie is living her best life with her Husky family and acting as the official ambassador for Mini Cat Town.

Their humans even wrote a book about Rosie's rescue and rehabilitation by Lilo.
Today, the family is really focused on kitten rescue and rehabilitation, though.

Rosie is just as adventurous and fun-loving as the Husky dogs she is bonded with.

The happy family gets out and about when able, and stays very active.

Rosie is a lot like any other cat, but also very unique because of her special upbringing with Lilo.

Still, it's impawsible not to delight in their journey and all of the obstacles they've overcome to get here.

They've defintitely come a long, long way.

A few years ago this was a bright beginning.

Over time it only blossomed.

Today, it continues to be a beautiful life together.
"A whole big ole bed to share... but Lilo let’s Rosie have it every time Can anyone relate?"

Seriously, look how precious their journey began!
We can't wait to see what the future continues to have in store for this pawesome family.
"Lilo wants to thank every so much for their kind donations to Mini Cat Town! With about 100 fosters in our care, they REALLY appreciate the food and formula
