Japanese Company Introduces "Office Cat" Policy To Ease Employee Stress
An IT company in Japan has turned office life into something a little more comforting, and a lot more furry. Its employees now share their workspace with a group of cats that wander freely through the building.
The policy began after one worker asked to bring a cat to the office, and the idea stuck. Over time, the company expanded the arrangement, even encouraging rescues from crowded shelters, which made the whole setup even more unusual.
It sounds charming, until a cat steps on the wrong button and the workday gets interrupted.
Even so, having the cats in the workplace has proved to be a huge success for Fukuda and his employees.

And if you think stress relief is simple, remember the “cat-a-strophic” WFH experience with a furry colleague.
Many other companies have followed the initiative and introduced similar policies. Not to mention the cat cafes that seem to be popping up everywhere.

So there you have it. That just proves that everything is better with cats!
