Adorable Dog Is So Cute That A Neighbor Woman Left A Note Asking To Pet The Pup
Some dogs are so charming that people cannot help but want to say hello. Sarah Elkins found herself in exactly that situation every morning when she spotted a sweet pup near her office, and she wanted to pet the dog without crossing any boundaries.
The dog, later identified as Sparrow, kept greeting Sarah from the yard, and the two seemed to have an instant connection. Still, Sarah did not want to assume she had permission, so she came up with a simple way to ask the family first.
That small note turned into a very cute moment, and Sparrow’s response made the whole thing even better. Read on.
"She saw me come out of my office door from her yard and greeted me at the gate with a full-body wag and a smile," Elkins said.

"I couldn’t take it anymore and ran back to the office to print the sign."

This is also like the heated clash between a Redditor and a dog mom over a “service dog” attempt to pet.
Sarah decided she would make a sign to ask the dog's family if she could pet her.
Sarah hung the sign just inside the gate so the family would see it and then waited patiently for a response. The next day, as Sarah was on her way to work, she was excited to see that the family had indeed left an answer.
The note said, "OF COURSE! Her name is Sparrow, and she is a good girl." Naturally, Sarah was thrilled!

"I was a little nervous that the answer would be no, but it wasn’t," Elkins said.

Sarah now visits Sparrow every morning and throughout the day to give her lots of love.
"Sometimes she will even put her paws on the fence to get a hug," Elkins said. So cute!
