The little guy wasn't eating or drinking. He hadn't even been sleeping. She thought he was dying, so, of course, she took him straight to the vet.
Thankfully, the vet reassured PaladinAmber that Louis would not be dying anytime soon. Nope. Louis wasn't sick; he was depressed.
That is one dramatic way to lose a neighborhood fight.
Why? Because another cat had beaten him in a fight!

"Louis is an outdoor/indoor cat, and so we know that the risks of that include fighting, infection, and even cat AIDS, so we take him to the vet whenever something seems off," PaladinAmber said.
This time, the owners waited two days because he was still eating his wet food and taking small sips of water.
"It wasn’t until day two, when he just sat there looking at the water, that we decided, ‘Okay, maybe something is up.’ We kept a very close eye on him over those two days, though."
"Louis is doing absolutely fine and doesn’t really care about his new internet fame because… well, he’s a cat, and cats are assholes," PaladinAmber added.
