These Seven Halloween Kittens Brightened Up Foster Care With Adorableness Overload
Seven Halloween-named kittens, one foster home, and a whole lot of tiny chaos made this rescue story impossible to ignore. Seattle cat rescuer and photographer Ashley Morrison shared sweet photos and captions of the litter, born in late August last year, and every update made the group look even more adorable.
The kittens included two girls, Boo and Blair, plus five boys, Casper, Trick, Ghost, Magic, and Salem. They were the last litter from Lilly, one of Morrison’s rescues, before Lilly and her sister Tinker Belle were finally spayed, and the two families of kittens ended up growing up side by side.
From foster care to forever homes, this little crew kept finding new ways to steal attention. Read on.
Morrison couldn’t care about a house full of cute critters; thanks to her own mom, the craziness was eased a bit as Lilly and her babies were temporarily transferred to Grandma Cindi’s house.

Morrison found it hard to say goodbye to the kittens, even though her mom’s house is just a drive away. Every time she visits the bunch, it is always Blair who fetches and caresses her feet.
The grand kittens soon became comfortable and playful with their cat tree in their new foster room.
Morrison had planned to photograph all 14 kittens on a couch, but it was very difficult to gather everyone in one place.

Every kitten was moving and couldn’t just stay in their places. Still, Morrison and her mom tried their best to gather the kittens.

That kind of kitten energy does not stay still for long.
So cute!

The rescuer's got her eye on Magic.
“It’s no secret I’ve got a crush on Magic. There’s always one or two in each litter you can’t help but find extra adorable. I mean, look at that heart nose!! (And no, I’m not keeping him—adoption is always the goal!),” the rescuer shared.

Here's Derpa Derp, the one featured on The Ellen Show.

“Lilly and the babies have arrived at Grandma’s! Ohhhh my, was it hard to say goodbye. Even though I can literally drive over every day 😂”

Grandma Cindi quickly became part of the foster routine.
“Today, September 28th, shall go down in history as the day I took my favorite family photo of all time 😂 There was sweat, crinkle balls, weird whistling noises, and hand gestures that made this possible.”

Take a look at these cuties on video:
“While @youngestoldcatlady is away, @youngestoldcatgrandma is the head cat. Look at some of the cuties I get to visit,” Cindi shared.

The Halloween theme only made the photos more fun.
This is the same kind of “tiny, huge vibes” cuteness as cats squeezed into oversized places.
Then it was finally time for the Halloween costumes to be worn! Salem wore his wizard hat while Casper and Magic became cute couch gremlins.

The couch gremlins in question:
“Found these little couch gremlins holding paws. (Casper left, Magic on the right)”

Brothers Casper and Magic became Instagram cuties with their newfound owners. You can follow them on Instagram and give some love to their cuteness!

Mommy Lilly and Ghost, now called Poto Potato and Ghost Pepper, respectively, also found their home. Both are now Instagram stars and are happy with their own adventures.

Inseparable, both Boo and Blair are together in their new families, and, of course, the sisters are charming as always!

In addition to finding a new home, Salem also found a new friend, a rescue kitten named Wednesday. Meanwhile, the kittens named after Disney princesses found their own homes by Thanksgiving, just in time for a cozy welcome.

By the end, every kitten had a story worth following.
Morrison and her efforts in rescuing these cats from the streets are greatly appreciated. Lilly’s kittens are also starring in her 2022 calendar, which you can follow and support on her Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

Morrison, Grandma Cindi, and the kitties in their new homes celebrated their Thanksgiving with thankful hearts.

Cats really do know how to make everything feel lighter.
