Smiling dogs have a way of stealing the whole show, and this collection proves it fast.
The #SmilingDogChallenge took off in the Dog Spotting Society Facebook group, where thousands of people shared photos of pups flashing their happiest faces. From shelter rescues to senior dogs and goofy family pets, the submissions are packed with pure canine charm.

Daniel is one of the challenge participants. He is the owner of this lovely mini Australian shepherd called Zero. Zero's photo has garnered more than 18k likes. Plus, he is a rising social media dogfluencer with around 3.4k followers on Instagram.
Daniel is not entirely sure whether canines smile like people, but he's confident that it resembles our smiles a lot. When it comes to Zero, he says that "sometimes he'll just stare at me, and I'll call him a good boy, and he gives me that sweet look."
The adorable blue-eyed shepherd will turn one year old soon. Daniel mentioned that the boy is very dramatic and incredibly vocal. "At the same time, he's incredibly sweet. Zero also loves to find mud and anything wet to roll in, and he is very dramatic if he can't climb onto something or if he sees someone he loves."
