Universally, the human race frickin' loves cats and dogs. Generally, we all share our love for them for the same reasons.
They’re good companions, especially because they’re adorable. Most are fairly intelligent, loyal, and know when we really need a furry shoulder to cry on.
As if that weren’t enough, Mother Nature also instilled these animals with a sense of humor and the ability to be the silliest. Somehow, we get the perfect package of companionship bundled into a small furry beast that can also provide the best sort of comic relief.
Even on some of the worst days, like a rough Wednesday (that feels like a Thursday and makes your day even worse when you realize tomorrow ISN’T actually Friday), we can turn to our cats and dogs for some stress relief. Thanks to the invention of social media, we get to enjoy other people’s fur babies too.
