Vincent the Maine Coon looks like he stepped straight out of a wildlife documentary, and that is exactly why people cannot stop staring. With his glossy black coat, huge frame, and intense expression, this Russian apartment cat keeps getting mistaken for a black panther.
His humans, Andrey and Anastasia, adopted him as a kitten and quickly realized they had brought home a very unusual pet. Vincent has since grown into a social media star with hundreds of thousands of followers, while still acting like a very chatty house cat at home.
He is big, dramatic, and apparently very opinionated, which only makes his story more fun. Read on.
With his huge body, piercing eyes, and incredibly shiny fur coat, Vincent has often been mistaken for a black panther.
Vincent has more than 800k followers on Instagram and TikTok combined! But nobody loves the celebrity feline more than his parents, Andrey and Anastasia.
The couple adopted Vincent when he was just a baby, hoping that he would bring some joy and excitement to their lives. And, of course, Vincent did not disappoint.
Vincent's handsome face won him many fans. "Many said that he looks like a person," his parents said.
Although Vincent is just 11 months old, he has already reached a whopping 20 lbs. His owners say that it's becoming increasingly difficult to pick Vincent up, and he's still growing!
"He already occupies almost the entire table with his size," they said.
That size is hard to ignore, even at home.
Vincent’s “black panther” vibe is nothing compared to the world’s tallest cat that opens doors and reaches countertops.
Andrey and Anastasia say that Vincent is very in tune with his humans and often tries to communicate with them.
"He always reacts very emotionally to our sneezes, shouting something in his own language in response," they said.
He clearly has a lot to say for such a young cat.
Well, there's no denying Vincent is one stunning cat! And let's face it, he has more followers on social media than most of us will ever have.
