Most wedding traditions involve flowers, cake, and maybe a little awkward dancing. Karen Marmo had a much more feline idea for her big day, and it turned one classic wedding moment into something far more memorable.
Instead of tossing a bouquet, Karen tossed a plush cat to her guests so they could compete for the chance to adopt a kitty next. The idea fit her perfectly, since she and her husband are devoted cat lovers and wanted their pets, Catbug and Luna, to be part of the celebration in their own way.

“I thought it’d be a fun way to include everyone regardless of gender or marital status, and it was very ‘me’ since everyone knows I’m obsessed with cats,” Karen said.
