No One Could Find This Perfectly, Naturally Camouflaged Frog Among The Rocks
Glenda Adams Phillips thought she was just looking at another ordinary frog in her Greenwell Springs, Louisiana neighborhood, until it vanished into the rocks in plain sight.
Her area is full of amphibians, from tree frogs and toads to bullfrogs, so hearing them is nothing new. Seeing one this well hidden, though, was a different story, especially after it startled her on the carport and hopped straight into the stones.
She snapped a photo right away, then realized the real challenge was spotting the frog again.
What made it unusual and what startled Phillips when the frog jumped at her was that it was perfectly camouflaged in the rocks and the leaves.
“I had never seen one like this before, and it was very tiny,” Phillips said. “We’ve had an extreme amount of rain this year, so everything has been staying pretty wet.”

This tiny camouflaged frog’s “where is it?” moment fits right in with the pocket-sized animals that prove size isn’t everything.
Even when she looked at the photo later, she could not find the frog in the picture.
The tiny frog was merged with the leaves and rocks, making it difficult for anyone to spot it immediately. “I couldn’t even find it in my own picture,” Phillips shared.
Coincidentally, she managed to take a picture that can be used as a hidden animal challenge. So, she posted it on her Facebook, asking people to spot the frog in it.

Can you identify him in the picture?
Look closely and concentrate, following the direction of the arrow.

Phillips is sure she will keep seeing more frogs perfectly camouflaged.
She is glad, though, that the little frogs are enjoying the rainy season.
