These Cute Cat Bed Caves Are Purrfect for the Felines Who Love Keeping Themselves Cozy in Tight Spaces
Some cat beds are cute, and some are so cozy they look like they were made for a royal nap. Elevele, a family-owned business in Lithuania, has turned that idea into a whole line of handmade caves, baskets, and beds for pets that love tight, warm spaces.
Behind the shop are Klaidas and Elena, along with their cat Rainis, who doubles as a product tester and model. Elena handles the designs and creations, while Klaidas built the store, and the result is a collection that blends comfort, nature-inspired details, and plenty of feline appeal.
From felted materials to snug little hideouts, these cat caves are built for pets that want to disappear into their own cozy corner. Read on.
With an open-top design and detailed embellishments, Elevele's beds and baskets provide cats with a comfy relaxing spot.
My kitty was keen on lying on pillows; therefore, I sewed a soft mat to place inside the cave. When summer arrived, the kitten began to sleep in the cave. This inspired me to create an open cat bed, which has become an original proprietary houseleek bed.

They look pretty too!

Elena made each cozy cat relaxation spot from olive soap, water, and Bergschaf wool, a splendid natural material sheared from sheep in Austria and Italy.

Elena frequently uses natural materials and incorporates nature-inspired patterns into her designs.

The design of the entire collection features interpretations of a hornet's nest, leaves, and flowers.

Elena experiments with a range of materials and fibers to create new textures.

Despite the changes, the shape of the cat beds is maintained.

The cat bed caves come in various colors.

Elena is a nature lover, which is why the designs feature green and earthy tones.

According to Elena, her family and husband are supportive of her work.

Her husband, Klaidas, is also a cat lover.

Their model cat, Rainis, is always ready to try out the new products.

Aside from beds, the shop also offers cat toys and mats made from the same set of materials.

This deep appreciation for design and comfort has driven the creator of these charming cat bed caves to transition from a career in architecture to a focus on crafting cozy spaces for cats. After years in the furniture design industry, the allure of handiwork reignited a passion that began as a hobby. The shift to felting allowed her to merge creativity with purpose, ultimately leading to a thriving business that prioritizes feline comfort. For cat owners seeking the ideal snug retreat for their furry companions, insights on creating comforting environments can enhance both the pet's experience and the overall home atmosphere.
After her cats demanded royal treatment, this woman even wrote the ultimate cat-sitting manual, see it here.
