Some prom dates are memorable for all the wrong reasons, but Sam’s choice turned into something far more charming. Instead of showing up with a classmate, he posed with Ruby, the family cat, and the photos quickly made the rounds online.
According to the Imgur post, Sam could not find a date for prom, so he brought Ruby along and let the cat steal the spotlight. Ruby had been taken in after wandering outside, and now she is dressed for the occasion in pink and looking completely unbothered.
It is hard to argue with that kind of prom energy, and the pictures say plenty on their own.
