Pregnant Stray Cat Chooses Police Station As Forever Home For Her And Her Family
A pregnant stray cat in Pusan, South Korea, ended up finding more than shelter when she wandered into a police station. The calico, later named Molang, had already crossed paths with the same officers before, after they buried her kittens following a road accident.
When she returned, the officers quickly realized she was expecting again, and they took her in without hesitation. What started as a temporary rescue soon turned into something much bigger for the station and the cat family.
Now Molang and her babies have a home, and the police station has a very unexpected new set of mascots.
The officers made her a 'delivery room' under a sofa for when she was ready to give birth.

The station wasted no time making her comfortable.
They even helped cut the umbilical cord as she gave birth to her four adorable babies.

The station has now become the permanent home for the furry family of five.

That temporary stay turned into a full-time arrangement.
This feels like the same good-news energy as the hero cop who rescued a drowning pup and welcomed her home.
The cats enjoy playing and working alongside the officers.

They also enjoy napping on any parcels that happen to arrive at the station.

The officers seem to have fully accepted the extra help.
Molang and her kittens have quickly become the station mascots, and the officers love them very much.

They are well-fed, well looked after, and very much loved by all.

It is not every day a police station gets a cat family of five.
And as it turns out, this little family has made history as the first-ever police cat family in South Korea!
