Cat Posts Aren't Just For Cats If You Ask This Kid Who Had To Be Rescued By The Fire Department

Many things in life will keep you busy, and right at the top of that list are both cats and kids. The ways cats and kids can keep you busy are only multiplied when they're combined, which is exactly what happened for one cat-friendly family in Wisconsin.

Cynthia Olson, a mom from Waukesha County, Wisconsin, recently shared photos of her youngest son's mishap with the cat scratching post. Somehow, he managed to get his head stuck in one of the platform openings.

Cat fanatics everywhere can imagine the demeanor of the cat when it saw what happened. "That's mine," surely the cat thought to itself.

She didn't reveal how he managed to do it, but it couldn't be more interesting than the "rescue" operation that followed. She wasn't tall enough to pull the boy vertically up, so she called the Fire Department.

The responders were amused by the situation (probably more amused than the cat was) but did a great job rescuing this cat-boy. The boy wasn't hurt in any way, and he laughed about the incident with the firemen.

Cynthia Olson from Waukesha County, Wisconsin, shared her son’s mishap with the cat scratching post:

She shared the photos with a caption: "Not an actual cat but cat-related... our son got his head stuck in our cat scratching post today and had to have it removed by the fire department. I thought my fellow cat friends would enjoy a little laugh this afternoon!"

Her post received more than 10k likes and 11k shares on Facebook.

We can't see the boy’s face here, but we bet it was a fantastic ride for him.
