Family Adopt Their Daughter's Favorite Shelter Dog To Surprise Her
Hallee Faque had wanted a dog for years, but her parents kept saying no. So she found the next best thing, volunteering at the Humane Society in Stillwater, Oklahoma, where she could spend time with the animals she loved.
That is where she met Rambo, a young Plott Hound and Mountain Cur mix who quickly became her favorite shelter dog. Hallee and Rambo bonded fast, and her family saw just how much he meant to her.
Then her dad made a Christmas move that changed everything, and Hallee had no idea what was waiting for her.
The shelter's director, Jackie Ross-Guerrero, told ABC NEWS
“She would come in and just sit with him. They connected from day one.”
Hallee's father, Lance, decided he would do something kind for both Rambo and his daughter for Christmas and secretly adopted Rambo without telling Hallee. She was devastated when she found out that Rambo had found a home, but she knew it was the right thing. What happened next, she did not see coming.

The whole thing was captured on video, with the emotional reunion and reveal bringing young Hallee to tears.
