Dave TV Publishes Animal "Guides" That Are Actually Hilarious Satirical Animal Facts
The animal kingdom is enormous, and it is impossible to know everything about it unless it's your job. But for the rest of us, it's a big unknown… Luckily, UK TV channel Dave launched an online campaign called "What the bloody hell is a ?" Their goal is to broaden our understanding of the creatures we share our planet with, and no, it's not just for laughs.
To say that the characteristics they wrote for the animals are not exactly true is an understatement. They are so ridiculous that they are genius. If you are not sure what we mean, just take a look:
Started in 1998, Dave TV uses its social media to produce utter nonsense, similar to their animal guides. "It's always good to learn new things about the natural world, even if the facts aren't always 100% true," a Dave spokesperson stated.
Typically, the channel's social media group comes up with suggestions for such campaigns. "We use our Facebook page, Instagram, and Twitter to promote our TV shows, but we also like to create content that makes our followers laugh as they check their newsfeeds!" the spokesperson said.

There is actually no system behind how the channel communicates with its viewers online, as they usually just go with the flow. "We just see how we are feeling that day, to be honest! It could be something in the news or just something that springs to mind; there is no rhyme or reason to it!"
