This Story Of How A Dog Took A Rescued Kitten As Her Own Will Gladden Your Heart
We’ve been taught that cats and dogs are sworn enemies. However, new stories on the internet continue to prove that there may be more to this story than we think. Thus, questioning our age-old beliefs.
While it's true that some cats and dogs won't get along well because they are two very different species, many cats and dogs can coexist peacefully under the right circumstances.
This story about a cat rescued from a PVC pipe is one reason we think animals are simply the sweetest.
Horse trainer Alyana Evans had passed her cats over to her parents to watch, as it was difficult to handle taking care of them while also catering to her dogs and horses in training.
Somehow, the universe knew exactly what she needed and provided it all covered in mud. Who’d have thought she’d find everything she needed in a PVC pipe? Certainly not her.
However, Alyana was taking a walk one fateful day when she heard a peculiar sound. When she got closer, she realized it was the sound of a cat, and it seemed like it was in a lot of pain.
Eager to help, she kept approaching, only to realize it was a little kitten covered in mud and stuck in a PVC pipe. Luckily she was able to rescue the kitty and get him checked at the vet.h
The story got even more interesting when Alyana took the kitty home and introduced him to her dog. Here’s how everything unfolded:
Alyana found a kitten trapped in a PVC pipe and immediately swung into action
Alyana knew what she had to do the moment she saw the kitten. She did the only thing there was to do, rescue the cute critter.
Of course, the kitty had an attitude about it at first because really, would he be a feline without the feisty attitude? We think not.
Alyana got the kitty out of the pipe, took him home, cleaned him up, and provided him with everything he needed, including a name.
She named him “Tripp.” Get it? Tripp because he tripped and fell into a pipe. How hilariously fitting.

Saying hello to his new sibling
Tripp did not just charm Alyana, he did the same to her dog, Rebel. However, before they could chat, Alyana took Tripp to the vet to ensure he was healthy.
Thankfully the vet cleared Tripp but noted that he needed to have a flea bath and get dewormed.
A canine sister
It was the cutest sight ever when Tripp and Rebel finally had time to talk. Now, the two are frequently spotted cuddling. How adorable!
Update!
We live for these moments. It’ll interest you to know that Tripp is happier than ever and cashing in on a lifetime of cuddles from his big sister.
The truth is, these animals only want to love and be loved. They have so much love to give, and sometimes, being with animals of a different species doesn’t deter them from expressing that love.
