Resourceful Dog Is Food Obsessed And Ninjas Himself Into A Food Container
Doodle is the kind of dog who can turn a snack into a full-blown mission. The cheerful, loving tripod pup is completely obsessed with food, and her family is always watching closely whenever she is nearby.
One afternoon, while Doodle's mom was busy with house chores, the dog vanished from sight. After searching the house and even checking outside, Brandy Stenzel was just about ready to panic when she heard a strange crunching sound.
That sound led straight to one very unexpected hiding spot, and Doodle was not exactly trying to be subtle about it.
"I knew that crunching sound was her, but I didn’t know where it was initially coming from," Stenzel told reporters.
She started following that crunching sound, which led her to the food container, and (surprise, surprise) there was Doodle. Somehow, she had managed to squeeze herself inside and was very happily munching on the contents.
The lid on the box was closed, but Doodle could have easily opened it if she wanted to. But why would she? That box was Nirvana for her.
"The food bin was hinged on one side, so she could have hopped right out if she wanted to, but she’s a pork chop, so she didn’t want to," her mom said.
Doodle saw Stenzel, and she knew very well she was in trouble. But it was still worth it.
"She knew she got caught, so when that happens, she puts her ears back, and it makes her look like Dobby the house-elf from 'Harry Potter,'" Stenzel said.
To prevent such "mishaps" in the future, her family got a food container that locks. However, she is always on the lookout, ready to jump in whenever someone forgets to lock it. Unfortunately for Doodle, her mom is always around to stop her. But that doesn’t mean she’ll stop trying…
