Cop Calls Man To Notify Him That His Husky Was On The Roof Of His House
Sometimes the most unexpected roof inspection comes from a family dog. In Prince Edward Island, Canada, a 17-month-old Husky named Nala managed to turn an ordinary day into a neighborhood spectacle after ending up on top of her house.
Her owner, Cheryl Ramsay, had left a bedroom window open while cleaning and got pulled into other chores, forgetting all about it. That small mistake set off a chain of events that ended with a police officer calling her husband to report the dog on the roof.
By the time everyone looked up, Nala had already made her move.

"She is loving and very smart. I would describe her personality as playful, jealous, and needy… She does not like being left alone. She is like a person and a goldfish; one second she wants out, then in, out, and in."
"Her name is Nala, and she is 17 months old," Cheryl says about her family’s dog.

Prior to receiving the surprising call, Cheryl was at the gas station while her husband, Paul, was running a work-related errand. "He could not believe the police officer when he was being told about the situation," she said.
But he did get to see it. "Right before Paul got home, there was the police officer and some bystanders standing around, and Nala just jumped back into the window."

Siberian Huskies are friendly and intelligent, but they can also be relatively independent and stubborn. Michele Weltonover, a dog breed advisor with 35 years of experience, says that they’re really athletic, agile, and light on their feet. When these characteristics are combined with their natural love for the great outdoors, such a trick definitely feels like something they could do.
Nala has previously proven herself to be quite the little escape artist. "She chewed seven retractable leashes and three seatbelts in our vehicles," Cheryl added. "She knows what she wants, and she finds a way to get it."
That “don’t leave me alone” panic feels similar to Nanuq’s 150-mile Alaska sea-ice trek.

And what did the people have to say about Nala’s little escapade?
